High-speed optical switches were developed in electro-optic (Pb,La)(Zr,Ti)O<sup>3</sup>(PLZT) waveguides. A 1x2 optical path switch showed <2.5 ns switching time. An 8x1 wavelength selective switch based on a tunable AWG showed 15 ns switching time.
