Abstract

A new approach, i.e., a CW dual-frequency Brillouin fiber laser pumped by two independent single-frequency Er-doped fiber lasers, was demonstrated for the generation of tunable low-noise RF/microwave optical signals, which have the Hz-level frequency stability.
