We demonstrate a continuously-tunable, optical-delay-element using selective-wavelength-conversion in a PPLN waveguide, dispersion-compensating-fiber, and intra-channel dispersion-compensation. A continuous delay of 105-ns, >4000 bit-slots at 40-Gb/s, is demonstrated for 80-Gb/s RZ-DQPSK, 40-Gb/s RZ-DPSK, and 40-Gb/s RZ-OOK.
