SBS-Suppressed, Single Mode Yb-Doped Fiber Amplifiers

Abstract

Experimental results are presented demonstrating 100µJ of pulse energy and over 500W of peak power from a stimulated Brillouin scattering (SBS)-suppressed, single mode, Yb-doped fiber structure. Over 135 Watts are achieved continuous-wave.
