We demonstrate optofluidic assembly of pre-fabricated InGaAsP microdisk lasers (6 µm diameter, 200 nm thickness) on silicon photonic circuits with sub-micron alignment accuracy. The laser output is successfully coupled to the integrated silicon waveguide.
