Dependence of the Transmission Impairment on the WSS Port Isolation Spectral Profile in 50GHz ROADM Networks with 43Gb/s NRZ-ADPSK Signals

Abstract

We analyze how the 50GHz WSS port isolation spectral profile impairs the performance of 43Gb/s NRZ-ADPSK wavelengths and find that >10dB of isolation is needed at the center of the channel relative to the edges.
