First Demonstration of an As2S3-on-LiNbO3 Ring Resonator

Abstract

A race-track ring resonator with a 600µm diameter and 25GHz free spectral range is demonstrated by vertically integrating arsenic-trisulfide (As2S3) waveguides with Ti-diffused LiNbO3 waveguides. Measurements of the TM ring resonator response are presented.
