iSNOW: Integrated Sensor Networks with Optical and Wireless Communications

Abstract

This paper proposes an integrated sensor network architecture with optical and wireless links, named iSNOW. iSNOW optimally integrates optical and wireless links through cross-link optimization including an intelligent routing protocol. iSNOW improves system performance.
