Sensitivity to Phase Errors of Fourier Transforms using Arrayed Waveguide Grating Routers for Optical OFDM

Abstract

Simulations of a four-channel AWGR FFT show the mean signal quality is the inverse of the phase variance of the arrayed waveguides. The phase error should < 15° for an 84% device yield.
