Abstract

We present a new Micro-Electro-Mechanical-System (MEMS) spatial light modulator with micromirrors designed to piston. This diffractive MEMS modulator is used for independently applying amplitude attenuation and phase control along one-dimensional spectrally-resolved frequency components of light.
