Abstract

Photonically-Sampled analog-to-digital conversion utilizing a spatial oversampling technique is described and experimentally demonstrated. Spatial oversampling’s ability to boost the ADC’s resolution is verified. Digitization of a 13GHz signal with 6.3 ENOB is demonstrated.
