Enhanced Tunable Parametric Delay Assisted by Gain-Transparent Stimulated Brillouin Scattering

Abstract

We demonstrate extension of optical parametric delay by enlarging the wavelength conversion bandwidth through dynamic phase-matching control in fiber-based four-wave mixing. The delay range has been increased by 37% from 248 to 340 ps.
