Surface Plasmon Resonance Based Fiber-Optic Sensor for Pesticide Detection

Abstract

Fiber optic SPR sensor for the detection of pesticide, chlorphyriphos, is reported. The probe is fabricated by immobilizing acetylcholinesterase on the silver coated core of the fiber. The sensitivity and the detection accuracy are studied.
