Surface Texture in Material Removal with MRF on Optical Ceramics and Hard Metals

Abstract

We use orthogonal 1D power spectral density (PSD) to study surface texture in MRF spots for optical ceramics and tungsten carbide hard metals. Results reveal how particles in the MR fluid remove material.
