Abstract

ITT Geospatial Systems has completed the production and testing of a Highly Aspheric Tertiary (HAT) strip mirror. One of the challenges to successful completion of the optic was to develop testing techniques that could deal with the high slopes encountered with the optical prescription. The off axis conic was successfully processed and this paper documents that separate refractive and holographic null tests are both acceptable methods.
