Abstract

We demonstrated an InP/InGaAs PIN photodetector assembling with broadband silicon resonant grating for polarization sensitive systems. The results show that the quantum efficiency of the photodetector has increased by 31.6% with a bandwidth of 100 nm for TE-polarization.
