Abstract
Dye-dispersed polydimethylsiloxane self-heals optical degradation, since dye molecules diffuse rapidly in the solid matrix and replace bleached molecules by fresh ones. Bleaching in the curing process is also avoidable by diffusing dye molecules after solidification.
