Design of spectral selectively reflecting coatings for use with large area projection screens

Abstract

To provide contrast improving screens for laser projection a selectively reflecting filter was designed using genetic algorithms to overcome the problem of unknown starting values. Colour metrics were used for evaluation rather than fixed targets.
