Solid Spaced Filters: an alternative for narrow bandpass applications

Not Accessible

Abstract

Solid-spaced filters are composed of one or several thin wafers of excellent optical quality acting as Fabry-Perot spacer layers. The description of advantages and drawbacks of SSF as an alternative solution to narrow bandpass applications is discussed. We study the different steps of the design and the manufacture of a three cavity filter following the 50GHz specifications.
