Abstract

The corrosion protection behavior of a SiNx coated silver mirror was investigated with electrochemical impedance spectroscopy and compared with results from humidity testing. A 3 Å NiCrNx interlayer between SiNx and Ag afforded a denser SiNx film and enhanced mirror durability.
