Gradient silver nanoparticle layers in absorbing coatings - experimental study

Abstract

It is shown experimentally that metal island film-based multilayer coatings with gradient in mass thickness of silver nanoparticles have higher absorption than equivalent non-gradient coatings with the same total mass thickness of silver nanoparticles.
