Color Modeling of Paint Mixtures Containing Conventional and Interference Pigments

Abstract

Color modeling of isotropic media commonly uses a two-constant Kubelka-Munk (KM) turbid media theory. This paper will outline how to incorporate interference pigments with KM theory to predict the color of conventional and interference pigment mixtures.
