Abstract

Reoptimization of the coating design during the coating process has proven to be an effective method to realize interference filters. A simulation tool is presented for assessing the effectiveness of reoptimization at various stages of the coating process. The simulations show significant differences between coating designs in the case of a narrow bandpass filter, but only small differences in the case of a NIR blocking filter.
