Design of Conjugated Polymers for the Optimization of Solar Cell Performance

Abstract

The influence of polythiophene structure on polymer-fullerene bulk-heterojunction solar cells is described. Regioregularity is found to influence device stability and variation in the identity and distribution of alkyl substituents is found to affect device efficiency.
