Full Range Photothermal Optical Coherence Tomography of Gold Nanoparticles

Abstract

Full range photothermal optical coherence tomography (PTOCT) is demonstrated using gold nanorod contrasts in agarose. Full range imaging allows for increased imaging depth as well as increased PTOCT SNR by avoiding signal falloff with depth.
