Linear and Nonlinear Absorption Enhanced Photoacoustic Response of BODIPY and Curcuminoid Photoacoustic-phores

Abstract

We report the development of efficient photoacousticphores based on BODIPY and curcuminiod fluorophores. Enhancement of PA response is attributed to strong linear absorption and excited state at incident wavelength, and long lived excited states.
