A Sufficient Condition for Non-negative Definiteness of Cross-Spectral Densities

Abstract

The choice of functions to be used as cross-spectral densities is restricted by the constraint of non-negative definiteness. A sufficient condition for ensuring satisfaction of the definiteness constraint is discussed and several examples of application are given.
