Measurements of aerosol optical properties with an eye-safe 1.53 µm lidar system

Abstract

Aerosol extinction and backscatter coefficients have been measured with an eye-safe 1.53 µm lidar system with slant-path technique. The results compare favorably to values reported previously in the literature.
