Temperature Tuning Mid-IR IV-VI Diode Lasers to Measure C6H6 and C7H8 Broad Absorption Bands

Abstract

A single IV-VI semiconductor mid-IR laser used in an absorption spectrometer was temperature tuned to obtain spectra of C6H6 and C7H8 covering over 100cm−1 in the region 1880cm−1–1980cm−1.
