Abstract

The NOAA High-Resolution Doppler Lidar (HRDL) has recently undergone considerable improvements by a joint NOAA/NCAR team. Results achieved on ground-based and shipborne platforms demonstrate the instrument’s high value for atmospheric boundary layer research.
