Abstract

Airborne hyperspectral data were used to simulate imagery from DigitalGlobe's proposed WorldView-3 (WV-3) satellite. A proposed new band configuration, including eight additional short-wave-infrared channels, demonstrates improved capability for geologic mapping and other applications.
