Optical Polymer-Amplifier Enhanced with Photo-Induced Periodic Gain Profile

Abstract

Photo-induced periodic gain [l, 2] onto dye-doped organic polymer by using interference pattern of a frequency-doubled Nd:YAG (532 nm) laser leads to an extreme high-gain at a specific wavelengh near 585 nm.
