Novel Terahertz Electric Metamaterials

Abstract

Planar electric metamaterials and their inverse structures are demonstrated to show complementary electrical resonant behavior in terahertz time-domain spectroscopy. Simulations and measured data agree well and illustrate potential applicability of these materials for terahertz devices.
