Abstract

The absorption spectra, electric and photoconductivity of poly-N-epoxypropyl-carbazole and acrylonitrilebutadienestyrene films doped with hetero bimetallic and hetero trimetallic complexes are investigated. Over the visible range of light spectrum absorption and inner photoeffect are attributed to d-d-transitions in metallic ions and their electronic recharge. Appearance of negative photoconductivity was detected. This effect is explained by capture of nonequilibrium charge carriers on the deep energetic traps close to boundaries of the complexes associates and by decreasing of electric field within the volume of polymeric composites films. If additional channel for the transport of nonequilibrium holes arises while poly-N-epoxypropylcarbazole is used, then the effect of negative photoconductivity vanishes and the photosensitivity increases.
