Abstract

LN:Hf crystals using tetravalent ions have similar optical damage resistance as LN:Mg, but LN:Zr is much better. LN:Fe:Hf crystals have both a fast photorefractive response speed and high saturation diffraction efficiency.We discuss recent experiments.
