Abstract

We present our recent progress in the development of nanopatterned front electrodes for improved light management in organic solar cell. First, experimental results of a prototype nanophotonic solar cell which demonstrates improved conversion efficiency compared to a planar device are presented. Second, three-dimensional simulations are employed to explain in-depth the light management effect in these devices.
