A mid-IR DIAL System Using Interband Cascade Laser Diodes

Abstract

A compact, portable mid-IR differential absorption lidar system was built using Interband Cascade Lasers operating at 3.38 μm and 3.54 μm and its operation was demonstrated by measuring absorption of vapor phase ethanol.
