Abstract

Photonic crystals provide strong distinctive reflection and emission spectra in the infrared. Specific patterns with strong infrared resonances inside (or just outside) traditional infrared imaging bands, offer unique opportunities for remote sensing, tagging, and tracking. Article not available.
