Synthesis and Optical Characterization of Photorefractive Inverse Opal Structures

Abstract

High quality inverse opal structures are synthesized from the photorefractive SnO2 medium by a simple two step infiltration and calcination process. Optical characterization reveals the high index contrast and applications of them in the field of sensors and integrated optics.
