Energy transfer and color tunability in γ-irradiated Tb3+-Sm3+ codoped B2O3-Al2O3-SrF2 glasses

Abstract

The present paper mainly focused on the tunable luminescence and energy transfer from Tb3+ to Sm3+; Sm3+ to Sm2+ ion in B2O3-Al2O3-SrF2 glasses. Moreover, the characteristic parameters of lighting materials are calculated and discussed systematically.
