Physics of II-VI microcavities

Abstract

Semiconductor microcavities exhibit unusual and exciting optical properties when the strong exciton-photon coupling regime is achieved and yields polaritons. II-VI materials with very robust excitons are particularly well suited to study the physics of 2D-polaritons in microcavities.
