Semiconductor laser with delayed incoherent feedback: experimental and numerical studies

Abstract

The bifurcation sequence of a semiconductor laser subject to delayed incoherent feedback is studied experimentally and numerically with good agreement. The sequence follows a three frequency scenario beginning with either subcritical or supercritical Hopf bifurcations.
