Wavelet-Transform Analysis of Spectral Interferometry for Phase Reconstruction of Femtosecond Optical Pulses

Abstract

We introduce a new technique: wavelet-transform analysis for phase reconstruction through spectral phase interferometry. The technique directly extracts phase from spectral interference fringes without using temporal filter, thus essentially eliminates uncertainties in retrieved phase.
