Local field spectroscopy of metal dimers by two-photon photoluminescence microscopy

Abstract

Two-photon photoluminescence is used for the first time to probe the local field spectrum of gold dimers. The additional data it provides compared to scattering measurements is of major importance for enhanced spectroscopy applications.
