Nearfield Investigation of Subwavelength Structured Graded-Index Lens

Abstract

Using Heterodyne Nearfield Scanning Optical Microscope (H-NSOM) we characterize the operation of a novel graded-index slab lens made subwavelength features. Measured amplitude and phase distributions show light focusing and used to learn about device performance.
