In-situ Probing of Coherence in Hollow Waveguide Highorder Harmonic Generation

Abstract

We use counterpropagating light to observe the coherent buildup of harmonic generation in a hollow waveguide. By measuring the phase mismatch, we probe pressure-tuned phase matching and determine ionization levels at which harmonics are generated.
