Abstract

A<b> </b>silver-wire nanocavity with CdSe quantum dots (QD) is optimized towards cavity-QED by varying cavity length and QD-wire distance. QD-plasmon coupling, enhancement of spontaneous emission and group velocities in the nanocavity of v<sub>G</sub>~0.5c are observed
