Hot Dirac Fermion Dynamics and Interlayer Thermal Coupling in Epitaxial Graphene

Abstract

Nondegenerate ultrafast pump -probe spectroscopy of epitaxial graphene is used to study hot electron relaxation and interlayer thermal coupling. The DT spectra are understood in terms of hot thermal carrier distributions with no electron-hole interaction.
