Atom Interferometry using Beam Splitters Based on Multi-Photon Bragg Diffraction: A Tool for Precision Measurements

Abstract

We apply multi-photon beam splitters based on Bragg diffraction in atom interferometers transferring up to 24 photon momenta in a single process. Ultimately, this may lead to atom interferometric measurements of increased precision.
