Abstract

We present studies on the generation of continuous-wave and pulsed squeezed vacuum via nonlinear polarization rotation in a rubidium vapor, with a value of −1.4 dB (−2.0 corrected, continuous-wave) and −1.0 dB (−1.4 corrected, pulsed).
